When studying ITEC Beauty it is essential that you have a set of revision questions that will help you along the path to exam success.

The ITEC Beauty Diploma covers areas such as facial treatments, eye treatments, waxing, make up, manicure and pedicure treatments. So whether you choose to work in a busy salon, open your own business, work as a mobile therapist or work from home then this is the perfect qualification for you. ITEC is also an internationally recognised qualification so if you decide to travel abroad then you will be covered.

The exam format with ITEC Beauty is multiple choice. Each subject is broken down into one unit and you get an exam on each unit, each exam has 50 questions. The pass rate is quite high, at 60%.

With the high pass rate and the sheer volume of information that you must learn in this course it is very important to have a good study guide that provides a set of multiple choice revision questions. Each question should have four possible answers and only one answer must be chosen.

The best way to learn ITEC Beauty is to break each unit down separately. So say for example you take Skin & Eye Treatments, take your revision questions and decide how many you are going to learn each day, I would recommend 40-50. Write the questions on a sheet of paper or some record cards. I found the record cards are the best because they are small and you can carry them around with you during the day.

Learn these questions for the day and repeat this until you have that unit learned completely. When you have finished, test yourself using your revision questions. This is a great way to see what areas you are strong in and likewise, what areas you need to study more.
